Just wanted to share...

I'm a new member here in X5world and new member to the BMW world. This is my first BMW coming from driving Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX, Mitsubishi EVO XIII and a Subaru STi. I was always a big fan of AWD vehicles. This year because I got into a more corporate position, I wanted more of a grown up look but still have a "sports" vehicle. I already wanted a SUV because I wanted the room as you can tell by my last 2 cars (4DR). Kept searching and searching and I almost decided to get a G35 but I fell inlove with the X5 when I first drove it. V8, AWD, 4.4L, smooth, looks good, I look good in it LOL, and a BMW! So I went to search for one. I came upon a 2003 with 83K miles with scratches, didnt want it. Then saw this one, 2001 4.4L for 16,000 with 55K miles. Here she is....

All I've done to it is:
- 20% tints all around
- 214 replicas with 275/40 and 315/35
- HIDs

Future mods before summer ends
- Pioneer Stereo/Navi system
- 1.5" drop
- Still debating on exhaust system
- New headlights with angel eyes

What I really want
- 4.6 & 4.8 kit

Home you like.
More pics to come in the future!

First day I got her on my birthday. April 17th

I was never a big fan of chrome because I thought it was ghetto. never had any chrome on my previous cars but for some reason I love the chrome on black theme so I decided to get chrome 214's. I'm missing the wheel caps which is on it's way to me this week. I also needed to buy hub centric rings because my steering wheel is shaky.

Tidy looking X. I presume you're clearing the taillights as well?

I get all my tints done at Speedworld in Queens. I can get you the address if you want. I've been dealing with them from Sub enclosures, turbo setup, engine work, to tints. They do really good work. I can recommend you to a friend over there.
