Installed Invision DVD on my X5

Finished my DVD system for X5 last week but i don't have time to take pictures unitl today.
The installation took about an hour to finish, It made installation easier after received assistant from Lawrence Siegel (acedeucy) and Tom (Mrbmwx5) and follow cold source that member in UK found and posted in the forum.

Thank you all!

Looks good. Does it connect to the vehicles audio system or are they operated independently of one another with their own sound? Can you play one disc on both screens? Where did you run the power from?

Lookin good with those! Man, I may just have to get me a set!

It's a pretty simple install, the hardest part is finding the cold source and running the wire. Other than that, its straight butter.

There is a wireless FM transmitter so you can pump the actual sound to the car stereo, but the system does come with 2 wireless headphones.

The screens are completely independent of one another and each has its own DVD player. You can also play one disc on both screens as well if you wish.

It does connect to the speakers via FM modulator or you can use wireless headphones. They can play one disc on both monitors or each monitor can play independent sources. I love that feature. You can play different DVDs or DVD on one and video game system on the other to keep rear passengers happy.

StartX5: Looks great! May I suggest a set of security covers? It's nice to be able to keep them low profile when not in use.

PersonalNonGrata:
I know what you mean for security issue. My wife also said the same i will try to find install the cover soon. Like the one Tom has on his DVD (he installed while ago and pretty good security aspect as well as DVD functions.)

The audio and functions [wireless earphone, playing separate DVD in each headrest, FM transmit.] are not difficult to set up, when you get DVD package, it includes all instructions in book.

The most 'strange' things that need to becareful are:
1. Insert 6-pin cables from DVD headrests thru backseat
2. Pop out bottom side console to verify the purple/whie wire to connect DVD power (red wire) and ground connector (black wire)
