Can't change the language to English

Hello,

Yesterday i upgraded my bmw firmware to V29.1, the monitor during installation showed tha installing three languages: Italian, French and Espaniol. Then i upgraded to V32 and monitor showed no need to install languages or something. I have read that in V32 there are 7 languages, but after upgrade i still only get the same as it was before upgrade: Italian, French and Espaniol. What to do if i want to change the language to English? My car is bought from Italy, so i think that's why i have no english ( Please help. My car is BMW X5 2004, and navigation is MKIV.

Hi Quag.

Are you able to use all languages that are optional.?

I have mk4 as well, i only have GB (english) or D 8deutsch) to choose from. But when i choose GB, it just ignores my selection, and continues to use deutsch..

There might be a simpler solution for you, but one way to go about, is to use navtweak and replace the text in one of the language files with english.. F. example you replace all the text in the italian language with english, and when you later choose italian on your setup, it is actually showing english language.

I have not been able to do this yet, but i as far as i know, this is possible.

Then again, there might be a simpler solution for you..

Good luck..
