Brake Covers?

I was looking through ebay for a set of brake rotors and brake pads and stumble on these. I wanted to know if anyone have tried these instead of painting their brake calipers.

Oh yeah I can't wait to see the damage these will do when they come flying off at 90 mph. BTW, I like the template he uses. It's also used by the military for loading munitions onto F16's.

haha - that picture is great. I think that template only applies to late 90's, early 2000 civics.

if you're gonna do any brake "upgrades" paint them with a proper kit or do BBK

Tried it, does not work; the brake calipers on the X5 3.0 are too big!
Throw mine in the trash!

I would rec'd buying this product, or something similar.

Pop the wheels, buff off the crap, paint 'em.

If one is really steady, patient and good, you could
even paint most/all of "what is seen" with the wheels
on, though it will take some careful rotation of the wheel.

Or, do the expensive route and get them powder coated...
"Covers"? C'mon, if they worked/fit and were even OK
every profiling bozo in town would have a set.
