2005 BMW X5 3.0i - Help Needed

Hello All,
Need some expert opinion from all you gurus out there. I bought mine in August 2005 and 4 year dream run is coming to an end soon. I have only 36,000 miles on it and the car runs great. No issues so far.
I tried to get the quote for the Extended Warranty and this is what I got from one of the local dealers:

Extended Warranty
+2 yrs./Total 100000 Mi. - $3975
+3 yrs./Total 70000 Mi.- $4075
+3 yrs./Total 100000 Mi.- $4725

Maintenance Plan
+2 yrs./Total 100000 Mi.- $2295

This sounded really out of whack to me. So I wanted to ask yall if I should try to get warranty from some other vendors. Do we have a list somewhere which lists down the common problems with 2005 X5 3.0?

I just want to weigh my options whether to get the warranty at all, if yes then who to get it from?
