Every time I start my X5 my climate controll fan is on low?

I recently bought an 03 X5 3.0i with 60k and turning off the fan every time I start the car is getting very old. Can anyone tell me if this has been programed on my key? Or any way to stop it from turning on the vent fan.
Thanks

I noticed it remembers the last fan setting slow, med, or fast and rembers ac, vent, or heat but If I turn it off before I shut off the car off why doesn't it remember to be off? I also spoke to a friend that has a 3 series he said his fan dosn't kick on every time he starts the car either?

This function can be programmed using GT1.
TwinsPoppa/Weasel/koister or one of the other GT1 owners should be able to confirm.

Just start the X, set your seat, mirror, steering wheel and temp the way you want it then press the red M button on the side of your seat to set it in one of the 3 memory settings. Turn of your X, exit it and set the alarm. this should set it for you, at least it works for me.... I normally have to set it for air in the summer and heat in the winter.
