Selector shaft seal
I have a 2002 3.0i. I found the tool but there seems to be two versions. And the seal I ordered doesn't seem to be the right one. I only found on post here but is not updated. I'm also looking for the tool to do the rear subframe bushings. Thank you. |

Tool is BMW p/n 83300491781. It contains parts to do 2 sizes of seals, I believe the ZX trans for the V-8's(smaller seal) and the GM trans for the inline 6's. It works well but requires some patience to use, especially the first time.
