New member and a question

Lurked for a while and pulled the trigger on a 2006 X5 4.4 two days ago.

well, first issue came up last night. I noticed that my check low beam message came up after I drove the X5 last night. I get out and look and the driver side lowbeam is out. So, tonight, i turn on the lights and go out for dinner, no issues, the lowbeam was working just fine. Sure enough, after dinner I get in and turn on the light and the check low beam comes on again, with the driver side light out. Sounds like a wiring issue to me. i looked at the part break down of the whole light system, should i pull the bulb and check the ignition element? Dealership?

I bought the X5 off a private owner, not CPO, and out of warranty.

Has anyone had this issue?

My back signal light would do that once in a while but i unseated the bulb and reseated it securely. Try that and see if the bulb being reseated helps this issue.
