Help! Hoses went out
Went to look under the hood today and found 2 of my hoses in the back of the engine bay torn and very brittle. I have no idea what hoses these are for, but I would guess it has to do with oil. Any of you guys have encountered this problem? If so how much did repairs run and is it possibly to diy?

Those are the oil separator lines - I would get them fixed ASAP. I had mine done while they were doing the valve cover gaskets. I think they ran me $150

is it possible to do it myself? so basically gas starts leaking out of these lines until I fix it?

Do a search on 'oil separator' and you'll find plenty of info and pics.
