Good AV installers in PDX?
Looking at just adding an amp to the stock speakers (open to suggestions)... and possibly Essam's sub upgrade (JL stealthbox an option too.) If I can install myself that would be cool but messing with the X5 gives me pause. This place is a wealth of info, thanks guys. |

First of all welcome!
I would check out one of two places. The Sound Choice (Pacific Northwest #1 Experts in Car Audio/DVD applications, "The Sound Choice".) - they do some high quality work, and I have never really seen a car done bad by them. or 503 Motoring (503 Motoring) - You will probably pay more at 503 Motoring because they have became extremely popular in the area doing a lot of the Portland Trail Blazers cars. But still do high quality work. Hopefully that helps! Good to see another X5 owner in Portland. Hopefully I will see you driving your X around somewhere!

I'll check out Sound Choice, this is the first time hearing about them. I've used 503 motoring before and wasn't too impressed, had windows tinted and had to have a window redone twice. The owner, Tim (I think) was nice enough but they seem much more the "bling" type aftermarket place.
Thanks for the info, if you are ever in Tualatin I'm sure you'll see me rolling through Dutch Bros ![]() |
