caliper covers

Has anyone installed the red brembo knock off plastic brake caliper covers? If so, what is a reasonable source and price to pay? Ebay wants $120.00 +/- plush shipping. It seems like they should be half that price. I recently installed replacement brembo cross-drilled rotors and I though it might look a little sportier.

Thank You............

Get ready for some of this

Do a search and see you will not find friends here with mods like this. Just paint your calipers.

Those idiotic covers are the laughing stock on practically every car forum on the internet. Either you're joking or you need to give your head a shake. You don't put plastic covers over your calipers unless you want everyone to point and laugh.

As Redline said, paint them. Proper caliper paint is far cheaper than stupid covers. So many car enthusiasts wish they had brakes as big as the x5 and you want to cover it with rice-boy wear. Don't destroy them with ebay junk!

Don't let them trash you! :-) It's your choice.
Actually, they would look much better than painted ones, if they would fit.
I actually ordered them and tried to fit them any possible way - but they don't.
Like "FLASH" said, the X5 already has quite some big calipers so those things won't fit, even if they say so!
I painted mine and it looks fine!

I appreciate the adivice. Given the car is black I thought the red would be a nice accent color not to mention I acutally have the cross drilled rotors on it and other parts.

Thank You
