Final Stage Resistor HELP?

Hey Guys!

Its been a long while since i've posted. My final Stage went out and im trying to replace it today. I have located it, now if i could just get the darn connector pins off. I dont know if im sqeezing correctly or not. i got to it with out removing the glove box if that's any help. Thanks y'all

Did you squeeze the release clip near the back of the connector (where the wires come out)? Try pushing forward slightly, squeeze hard, then pull straight back.

darn it i just broke one of the tabs still not off. Thanks for the image ncx i'm gonna keep trying

am i supposed to sqeeze the side colser to the wires right?

alright i had same problem. You need to use a pair of pliers to squeeze the two blacks knobs together. Also this is much easier if the glove box is removed

Ooh sorry to hear you broke a tab off. Yes, squeeze the side closest to where the wires go in. I suggested pushing it forward slightly (into the FSR) first before you squeeze so that you can get the clip fully open, then pull back and over the tabs. Mine was tight but sounds like your FSR clip is much worse. GOOD LUCK.

yeah this clip is a mean one! thanks for everyones help on this, my fingers are all numb from pushing and pulling
