Looking for DIY Oil Pan Gasket 2001 X5 3.0i

I have an 2001 3.0i oil is leaking very bad, the dealer checked and said it leaking from Oil pan gasket, and front crank shaft seal. They asked for $2000 to fix both, parts is $200 and labor $1800.

I'm try to looking DIY oil pan gasket, and how difficult to do it?

My TIS is horrible on this, but you have to both raise the motor and do something with the front axles, since they go through the pan. It isn't really clear.

If you get down there with the skid plate removed you will see that half of the bolts from the pan to the block you cannot even see. It looks like a real bear of a job.

I'd like to know how to do this as well, if it is possible.
