yea, my friend has the si and he wants to start modding it and i want to put on dinan exhaust soon but we were discussing how it is possible that a 4 cylinder engine could possiblly beat an 8. we understand the weight advantage but what else could there be?

Gearing comes after weight ,smaller cars allow gearing that can get them moving quicker
then you have the power thats lost in the drive line getting everything moving in X5
