PTFE engine treatments
I have always used Nulon ptfe 80,000km treatment in all my other cars including heavily modified turbo in line sixes ,But i am not sure if there is a reason it shouldn't be used in an bmw engine i know the tolerences in a ford engine would be more than a bmw engine . And could there be any internal engine sensors or parts that could be affected by this stuff

All I really know is that BMW doesn't recommend any engine additives. If you change your oil frequently with good quality oil and use OEM oil filters, you probably don't need to worry about anything.

yeh think that might be the better way with this one ,always been a fan of the 10k kms oil change on my cars , so i will leave it and just keep doing 10-15k all changes

In the past I thought it was best to change even long life oil every 7,500 miles. That was until JCL posted a thread on a torn down BMW engine with over 100,000 miles that received oil changes every 15,000. The engine looked to be in great shape. Now I personally think oil changes every 10,000 to 15,000 is just fine. I do suggest using a good quality synthetic and OEM filters only.
