Hey ECS, I am looking to replace my front rotors/pads/sensors and was wondering if you have any suggestions as to what to get. This is for daily city driving with stop and go traffic.

For daily driving, a plain rotor with ceramic pad is a great setup. It will offer a bit less dust than the OEM pads and still provide ample bite without tearing up rotors too quick.

We have an RPS Kit available with free shipping to the lower 48 that includes Brembo plain rotors, Akebono Ceramic Pads and the correct senors. It can be found here on the website for your application:

BMW E53 X5 N62 4.4L > Braking > OEM > ES#1306686 ECS Front RPS Kit - Akebono Ceramic Pads - ECSE533411-2

Thanks and let us know if you have any questions!

I just find out 2 days ago that UPS has crashed my orders... While I was trying to track my order ( was ordered around august 18 ) I find out that the box was damaged and was sitting somewhere, UPS would not deliver or call me to let me know what was going on.

When I called UPS, they told me to call the sender to tell them to call UPS and then they would open a case.... I couldn't believe what I was earing, I mean talking about crap customer service it's seem that UPS is hard to beat.

I guess I'm going to have to wait another 2 weeks before I can get a new order ship out to me, hopefully this time UPS will be careful with the box.

I spoke with John at ECS, he was very nice and said they are talking with UPS and hopefully a new order should go out soon, or whatever was damaged I guess will be replace. Thanks again for the support, even though this crap happend I will buy again from ECS seing how they take care of their customers.

For now I guess I'm going to enjoy this long sunny labor day week-end and work on my beast...
