CPO about to end. Looking for advice.

Hi all,

What should I get checked/replaced/fixed? Anyone here know a particular service advisor in Open Road BMW Edison NJ that you can recommend? Its an 03 low mileage car.

Problems that I have are:
1. Front end clunking noise on driver side. Last yr the Swaybar links was replaced but the noise just decreased but did not go away.

2. When the front passenger window is open, closing the door sounds like the glass rattles inside.

3. I think the rear suspension is bad but I am not sure what a good suspension feels like. Coming from an Audi A6 this X5 is very rough even w/o sport and 17" wheels.

4. Rear brakes look low but it has not hit the sensor yet.

Thanks

The CPO list of what's covered/not covered is very vague on "suspension
parts", imo. The brakes are on your nickel as they are a "maintenance item".

I would go to the Roxbury location. Rod Ryan owns that one too. Your best bet is probably getting the window thing done. Mike is a great sevice advisor and the facility/service is top notch. I've been going to their Morristown store for dealer only stuff for 22 years.

Agree with other posts...here's my experience.

I've had the infamous window regulators and general door/window rattles serviced under CPO twice now. You should ask for that one for sure.

Suspension stuff is super vague and you may have to battle for that.

Brakes are on you unless you bought "Maintanence Warranty Extension" then you could ask for that to be addressed too.

Good Luck.

I use DCH in Freehold on Rt9. Ray is an awesome SA. Tell him Jason from KEF sent you as I was in good with the GM, thus the rest of the staff too! Good luck!
