Goodyear F1 Opinions

Found a pretty good deal for a set of 4 near new Goodyear F1's. Right now, I have replica style 87 rims with Goodyear GTII's, front two are worn, two rears are about 75%. They're 20" and the tires are 275/45/20 all around. Wanted to know if anyone has experience with the F1's, I'm in Vegas so we never have wet weather, mainly dry.

Not even similar cars, but I'm on my 2nd set of GY F1s on my Vette, though
the 2nd set are GY Eagle F1 GS-D3s, non-RFTs. There are several species of
"GY F1s" on the mkt, so hard to compare or comment, other than they make
pretty damn good tires, imo. If the price is really good, it's your pick.

You don't want to keep the staggered look with the wider oe rear tire size?

The set I'm looking at are from an Audi dealership, from a 2009 Q7. I have the same sized rim all the way around, so don't have the staggered set up.Just wanted to know if anyone had experience with these in terms of noise/wear. The GTII's on there now are ok, were on the rims when I bought them and just wearing them down a bit more before I swap them out. The F1's seem a bit more aggressive and are more a summer tire rather than all season, is that correct?

motordavid, just took a peek at your page, awesome pics, I think my favorite vehicle you have is that Hurricane, I had a 600 but a friend was borrowing it and it got stolen. Now I'm married with 2 kids and wife won't let me get another bike

DRock, that was my wonderment: no idea what species of GY tires are
on that Q7; GY now makes several tire species with the F1 moniker, but
the tires vary considerably. All are pretty good, imo.

The F1 Supercar tires I have now on my Vette are the asymmetrical type
and really a true summer tire, though they are decent in rain. I doubt
that specific F1 I have, would work in snow, even on an X. Thus, you
might nail down the specific type of GY F1, for a better opin.

Thanks for the props on my ol' 1987 Hurricane 1000! Bought it new
way back in May '87 for. Stock, almost pristine, still hauls azz, though
it is very low tech compared to the scoots today.
