Lowering an X5. Any future issues
I will be lowering my X5 guys and i was wondering has anyone experienced any issue with doing so. I know when I lowered my E36 ball joint would fail alot until I got steel ones installed. Any issues with this ??

I slammed mine with some KW coilovers.........Mrbmwx5 and jst2878 (justin) slammed his also....
No problems...though you may need some rear camber plates as there will be some negative camber automatically dialed in once you drop her... I di dnot add them...justin did.......I will burn through my rubber slightly quicker but I enjoy the tad bit more rear neg. camber..... These pics are from the recent X5 Meet....mine would be the tit silver.....shadow is killing the view but you should get the idea of the drop..... ![]() Rich ![]() ![]() RR ![]()

Sweet ...... they all look hot !!!!
I was just thinking of doing springs only for now. Not a coilover kit. 2" drop all around. Maybe invest in some rear camber plates also |

^^ wont be able to get 2" with a drop. I have the Eibach springs right now, about 1.25" I dont have any issues at all, just get an alignment and youre good to go.
