Disabling climate control from coming on automatically?

Is there a way to disable the auto-turn on of the climate control everytime I turn the car on?

You really need to start using the search button man You're asking questions people have already asked plenty of times before. You've got LOT of reading to do

Put some more details of your X in your signature too (year, engine, options, etc), that'll help narrow down things down and get you quicker answers.

motordavid will become famous soon enoughmotordavid will become famous soon enough
Well, in our older technology, ol' 2001, I simply turn off A/C, (if it was on),
set temp(s) to what I want when I'm going to start it again, and turn down
blower setting to low. No auto climate comes on when I start it again and,
I'm free to adjust temp/blower settings and add A/C, if I choose.
