Decal/sticker over amber corner of 04-06 headlights?

I've seen posts where people have put a vinyl decal or sticker over the amber portion of the headlight. This is much cheaper than buying euro headlights and dont have to try and open the headlight.

Just curious if anyone has done this on a 2004-2006 X5? Thinking a black decal on a black X5 might blend in ok...

Its a different story on the 04-06 headlights...

The amber surrounds the white part...so even if you put decals... from certain angles you can probably see the amber ...but nevertheless it would be an improvement for those that dislike the amber...
