Wow! Those pics are just great. I wish I had my X in background pics like that. I love your new ride, that color is so nice, for an 03 with almost 100K in miles it looks like new. Good luck with it.

Better yet, welcome to the ESTORIL X5 club, few and far between.

I still get looks all the time. Funny story but my buddy is a CHP and he actually pulled up to us checking out the car. He didn't realize it was me until I waved!

Yup - I have always loved the color, and it fits the X5 so well - especially in 4.6is trim. My buddy said he had several people pull up along side him and give him the thumbs up on his drive to CO from IN. He was somewhat baffled because he didn't realize it was any sort of special model or anything. But he started to think something must be up... Why do you think I bought a car 2400 miles away from me? Very hard to find - I think there were maybe 3-4 for sale in the whole country when I was looking, and the others were 02's and I was leaning towards an '03. But this one came up and had everything going for it - solid maint / repair history, former CPO car, enthousiast owned, tow package with hitch installed, windows were tinted, and the price was right. So I took a leap of faith and committed to the car sight unseen, although I did have a BMW dealer do a full PPI. Worked out great for me!!
