Might be selling your E38 JT? Man, if you were closer I'd heavily consider getting it for my mother since she wants a V8 BMW now, getting tired of her E39 528i. (brought on by her using my 4.6is and feeling all that extra HP)

Road trip time with moms! I'm considering a 08 Z4MCoupe right now and once I get that car, I'll probably put the 740 on the market. I put a lot into that car and its so cherry. The previous owner was a woman and there was no wear/tear on the inside at all. Since my buddy is a BMW tech, the maint and preventative stuff is all done too. Ball joints, thrust arms, valley pan, valve cover gaskets, tranny, etc, etc. Its all upto snuff.

Its got MK4 DVD nav, Bluetooth, DICE link iPod, and all the modern goodies that an 08-9 BMW should have. Plus the all coveted Alpina front lip. Now that I just listed all that, I'm considering keeping it again! LOL

That would be one hell of a cross country road trip! But it would take finding a buyer for the 98 528i first as there will be no financing vehicles at this point, just add that to some $ from the savings account and it would be doable. Unless you want the E39 528i! All new front suspension, rebuilt the head with new valves/valve stem seals just after Christmas, etc. (but I'm not sure you're quite ready for the monster 189 HP of that beast)

Hey, it is not all about HP. The e39 is a great design. Throw some M-Parallels on it and you have yourself one good looking car, IMO. I have been considering getting an e39 530i as a replacement for my e36 325i for DD duties. My parents have a very low mileage (less than 20,000 miles) '02 that I have been trying to talk them into selling me (at the family discount of course ).

Take pictures in different lights. That Alpina Blue is looks different in the sun, shade and dark. Sometimes it's a deep blue and other times it has almost a purple tint to it.

I hope you're ready for plenty of attention and thumbs up. That car turns everyone's head,

You and my brother are twins. Maybe we should meet and do a B7 photo shoot Congrats.

That's exactly what Toledo blue does in different light as well. I guess DVS is probably used to it since his x5 was Toledo blue.
