My fuel tank breather (purge) valve is connected on one side with a hose going into the driver's fender well but I cannot for the life of me figure out where the other end goes. I just replaced the oil separator and hooking things back up but come to think of it I am not sure this end was hooked up to begin with. It's the piece that goes into the valve straight and from the diagram it almost looks like it goes to the throttle body (part on the lower left below) but there are no ports on the TB. Does anyone know??? Thanks...

It suppose to go to vacuum port on throttle housing? There is no such port... I've had it off in my hand and there's no port.

ok... don't do what I did and not hook up the manifold to the purge valve BEFORE putting the manifold on. The vacuum port is there way in the back on the piece the throttle body mounts to... impossible to get at without removing the manifold.

Oops, I inadvertently pulled the hose off too ![]() Does it really require pulling the intake manifold? |

Got it sorted. The FTV fitting was behind and to the right of the OSV and no you don't have to pull the intake manifol, but that didn't turn out to be my problem. The reason my x3 wouldn't idle was due to the ICV not being fully seated...
