heater hot and then little less hot

just realized that the heater blows a hot air and then a less hot air for a secs and repeats... something wrong?

Double check the rotary knob between the dash vents. They're notorious for breaking in my M5, but fortunately I haven't had the same problem in the 7 or X. Otherwise, it could only be a few mechanic things to cause symptoms like that to happen...coolant is low and needs to be bleed again. Regardless of the expansion tank being full, it still may need to be bled again. Have you ever flushed your coolant? I've seen nasty and seized up heater diverter valves/aux pumps due to using the wrong coolant and/or not flushing the system enough.

HA, I have accidentally adjusted the knob and thought I had a coolant look because of the cold heat...

If it's not the knob, it's very likely low coolant, Juppaglae.

Also it could be switching from Rec to Fresh Air which is more difficult for the system to heat due to it being much colder than the cabin air. Try keeping it on Rec
