OE Windshield Install problem
The back story. So after much thought I decided to pull the trigger on a new w/s for the x5. Called my local dealer and got the name of the guy who they recommend all their glass installs. Great service by the way. So State Farm as of April no longer allows policy holders to request OE glass, you have to pay the difference...in this case $343 including the $50 deductible...
Pictures attached...any thoughts. I contacted my local dealer and they seem to think it will be warranty, will contact BMW NA tomorrow, anyone else seen this. The vin plate is riveted, and cannot be moved, it appears the cut out is in the wrong place. arrgghh! thanks rjm

Since you went with the OEM glass, it should end up being parts warranty.
