Curious what you scored the X for, I got mine a few months back for 21k shipped across the country.

Any plans on Mods yet? I recommend the Dinan goodies, did wonders on my X.

Welcome and enjoy.
It's got 91K miles current maintenance done, new brakes, one owner, no accidents (even dings or dents), and they even had the original window sticker all for $17K!

I was a little hesitant getting an X with high mileage but I did a lot of due diligence prior to the purchase and having a friend who's a certified BMW mechanic at a dealer helps a lot.

As for mods, I may change the front head lights with the angel eyes set up, cross drilled rotors, exhaust, and software. We'll have to see if she can handle an Supercharger with the mileage.

hey - I just bought a 03 4.6is with 95K miles. It is a great vehicle, and especially for the price. Sticker on mine is over $70K - I have it!!
IMHO, you can't go wrong getting such a nice vehicle for 25% of the sticker if it is good shape with solid maint history and a good PPI to make sure all is good, which it was on mine. Even if you need to drop a few grand here and there for some things, the value is still pretty hard to beat vs. a lower miles 4.8is - because you pay that over time, not up front. Also I think the 03 is a pretty solid year for the X5 - last year for the first gen body style and also second and last year for the 4.6is.

Thanks all for the warm welcome and comments.

c4racer - I completely agree. The price was just too good to pass up. And anything below $24K with good history is great deal especially when the MSRP was $70K! - You just get some much out of your money.

snkpkp - I went to SFSU as well! Many eons ago! But I know that area well. Thanks for the info. and I have to head up there sometime.

Cheers,
Mark
