Glad you are OK. I was expecting much more carnage with a bus being involved.

will probably just order a new tail gate lower with the light. only problem is BMW here always never has any stock of parts. but btw we have some of the best body work guys in the world just because most people REPAIR body parts and not REPLACE them, so I guess in my case it will only matter to get a good paint job done , but I am not even thinking all that, JUST MAJORLY sucks not to have your own car for two weeks.

As a fellow crash victim (just yesterday), I can relate! Glad you aren't hurt. Good luck with the repairs.

dont you always wish after an accident that you could have left home or work a few seconds later or earlier....

If you put it that way, the accident could have happened to stop you from getting into something far worse, no?

Sorry to hear about your bad news. Glad all came out without serious injury, that's what really matters.
Maybe before (or as) you hand your X over to some paint shop for repairs, record the milage. A nice car like yours might turn into a weekend loaner for one of the workers. This way you'll know if it's been taken on a long run or driven excessively.
