i'm getting it all done with braje flush, hoses, reseal intake manifold etc. and all around inspection for $650 total at my place by bmw mechanic...
good deal, friends and family price about 5-6 hour job with parts...? |

I'd ask for a break down of labour vs. parts. You can often save a bundle usually by ordering your own parts. Some shops won't do install customer supplied parts, but lots of good ones will.

650 is not so bad, especially if he cleans the intake ports and manifold while it's off. Definitely do the valleypan since this is optimal timing. Costs about 70 more in parts. Gl!
