Can I program X5 to change behavior???
'01 4.4 with 75K and I want to know if I can manipulate the door lock behavior and eliminate electrical system use when key is off. With the door locks, I would like the doors to unlock when I shut off the car. The double pull to get out of the vehicle is maddening. I've noticed that the GPS periodically spins up when the key is off. Is there a way to reprogram the system to manipulate these things?

I'm afraid that the doors cannot be unlocked automatically once the car shuts off or goes into park but they will lock. This feature can be turned on or off by the dealer as can other features.
