What is the general opinion regarding maintenance on the air-con system. My 4yr old X has just had a service at the main dealer and they did the usual check over and came up with a list of items that were not to spec, all items are just advisory.
One thing they told me was that my cooling temp inside the car was not up to Spec , I told them that it is very cold and the air-con works fine , he said he was just advising me that it was not getting down to the level specified.
My question is how often should the system be recharged and serviced, some comments I have read say every 2 years, seems a lot , what do you think, or what do most people do.
