cruise control light wont shut off.

help! active cruise control light stays on .its a yellow car in fron tof the other that displays in the center of the dash . any suggestions?

US spec car? suspect instrument cluster coding error. disconnect the battery for 10 minutes, and then reconnect. checke if the light goes out. if it does not have the dealer check it out.
