Rear bumper spoiler

Ive done a search and I've seen some pics of the rear bumper spoiler installed on 2004 BMW X5 3.0, but I can't tell if they're flush against the bumper, I've seen some that aren't flush againt the bumper, are they supposed to be flushed, no space on the side where the cover snaps into? I just had mine done and there's a 1/2 gap space...anyone who has one that's factory installed? is there a gap or is it completely flushed?

Mine looks that way with a bit of a gap. I think the factory assembled ones might be a hair tighter than DIY.

Nice touch 'amaretto',
Looks great, you have a good eye for detail.

Driving around the GC today when a silver E53 4.8is caught my eye and I remember thinking how they look really, really cool with that rear spoiler trim. Sort of finishes off the back end (and the front end) much better than 3.0's and 4.4's, I think it's also that splash of colour that stands out also. Coupled with the flared guard trims and correct rims they really are still, a very tidy looking car.

I presume you did the front spoiler as well? Could we see pics of before n after please ??

I don't have a before pics, but I can post the after pics, I'm going to have the exhaust tips done today, and the skid plate next week,...I'll post some pics...I wanted to go with the original 4.6 exhaust tips, but the price is way up there, bought these instead, only $35.00 a piece...better than my 3.0 tip, but not as good as the 4.6 tip...
