Got a problem...want to change shifter

Hi guys;

I've read up on reversing the shifter on the X5 (change the two center wires...). However, the part number given to show the plus and minus reversed (51 16 7 060 445) is for the whole transmission plate. All I want is the little 1"x2.5" plate showing M/S +/ -.

The part number I've shown above costs ~$315! Anyone know another cheaper way to do this?
