The AC on my 2004 4.4 X5 has started to blow only cool air out the LH side vents and warm out of the RH side vents. There is no smell coming from the AC when the car is started and the blower is working fine. But after you have been driving a while the air coming through the vents cool's down a little bit but not much. Does anyone know what could becausing the problem.

I've been to an independent garage and they found that the gas in the exchanger was low so they topped it up. The ac is now blowing cold. Hopefully it will stay that way or it's going to be a big bill to replace the exchanger if that is leaking.....
