Interior Carpet Issue

Recently purchased an 06 X5 Sport with 20K miles. Got it home and started cleaning it up, I noticed the stains in the cargo area will not come out. I took it to the Dealer to see if they can get the stains out. Dealer said that they might have to re-dye the carpet. Is this something that a lay person like myself could do? If so, where would I begin to find the correct dye? Thanks...Jamie

first of all take that pic off your avatar....I think Im getting nausea. just google carpet dying but I would just buy the cargo mat and put it on top of the carpet...way cheaper

what stains is it.
U need to match the pre-treat (cleaner) with the stain u are trying to attack

It looks to be red clay, but I can't be sure
