Changing a Flat, getting wheel off
Yes it was clear of the ground. I took off the center BMW cap and it looks like a locking nut of some type but I don't know if that comes off or even if I have a tool for it. Sorry if this is basic, I don't do this much. |

No other locking mechanism. Probably just stuck after all those years. Simply have to pull harder, maybe rocking different portions of the wheel to break the grip loose.

It is often helpful to kick the wheel outwards from behind, but don't get under the vehicle to do that if it is only supported by the jack. WD40 or penetrating oil left to soak for a few minutes on the hub ring can also help.
