Trans. failsafe and ABS controler
My code reader gave me the code P0600 ( can bus malfunction). ABS, Brake and Traction lights are yellow ( brake light turns red intermitently)..After reading too many posts I'm thinking it's the ABS module control unit that is the faulty part?? Can you help with diy removal of ABS Modulator? Is it best to buy used one and recoded at the dealer, or send the original to be rebuilt? Thanx |

People have been having good luck havinf the modules rebuilt using places like modulemaster.
It may be worth having the faults read via GT1 tester as a code reader is only reading the faults from the engine computer, and the GT1 tester at the dealer will talk to every control module in the whole vehicle. The rebuild costs over $1k, the diagnosis to confirm that is what you really need will cost under $200.
