2001 X5 Looking for front Brake Rotor, Pads & Sensor & Opinion

I have to replace my front rotors & pads, can someone please suggest a good reasonable replacement & reliable company.
I'm totally confused with so many different companies & wide price range.

I'd appreciate if you can please post on where I can buy this from in US & your experience.

I am more surprised on the quote I received from Autozone...& other local stores where the rotors are a fraction of a cost from what I see online, something tells me I'd have a price trade off there.

Kindly please suggest.

If you want assured quality, the same performance as when the vehicle was new, just go to your local dealer and buy OEM.

If you want to trade off one aspect of braking performance for another (ie less dust, different pad bite, longer life, cost, etc) then there are lots of options from reputable companies. Stay away from eBay and similar sites.

I have had good experience with Axxis Deluxe pads from www.zeckhausenracing.com. ECS is also a board sponsor, with lots of options. Whichever pad you use, I would go with OEM rotors and sensors.

Zeckhausen Racing is a new site sponsor of Xoutpost.com and you will be hard pressed to find anyone more knowledgeable and helpful than Dave Z when it comes to brakes.
