PBR rotors + PBR cerramic brake pads squeal afer new brak job? Any suggestions?

After new front brake jobs brake pads squal at low speeds, but no squal if i stop hard. Will it stay like that forever? Should i change to other brand then?

What brand is the best for rotors and brake pads with no squeal at all?

Thanks

I had the same problem on my wife's 3 series. I used this
MERCEDES BRAKE ANTI SQUEAL PASTE OE GENUINE:eBay Motors (item 360156298471 end time Sep-16-09 01:20:15 PDT)
and no noise since. Or you can use any high temp grease to put between the caliper and the brake pads

Did you do the job yourself? If so do what youry suggests or just go to Kragen and buy CRC Disc Brake Quite or something similar and spray the back of the pad and reinstall.

If you had them done, take it back and have them do the work.

Ceramic should not squeel and the dust should be low. Quality will depend on the brand. Also ceramic is not compatible with all rotors. You want to make sure the pad and rotor are a match.

I just did the rear brakes with Brembo drilled rotors and Hawk pads. Hawk makes some of the best pads out there. I did not go with ceramic as they were not compatible with the rotors I bought.

It sounds like someone forgot the anti squeal. If you outsourced this job, take it back like Blowout said and make them fix it.

Might be a dumb question, but did you have the rotors turned when you changed the pads?

Had brand new rotors + brand new pads. But pads were PBR cerramic,so they are very loud and make squeal at low speeds. So i ordered new sets of OEM pads, see how it works out
