I was bored today and the weather was fairly warm at -10c so I decided to check things over and was checking all the coolant hoses , none are bulging or soft and no leaks any where that I could see including the expansion tank. also since I got the x5 never had to top up coolant. .for the a/c belt no cracks at all, but the alternator belt has some cracks but no chunks out of it so I`ll probally change both anyways in the spring.

Need a close up of one of the clamps, but I'll guess they are factory based on what I can see.

definitely factory clamps. having seen many different kinds of clamps, these are my favorite, albeit expensive for a clamp ($1-2+ each). you shouldn't ever have to replace them unless you accidentally deform it. I recommend a tiny bit of oil on the exposed ear before you loosen them, makes them operate very smooth and less likely to strip out.

I don't think those hoses have ever been changed either. have your radiator hoses been changed yet? 10+ years and 200k-km, recommend you prepare to do that soon.

I keep checking them monthly for any signs of cracks, bulges, and being soft, but they are good so far, and I don`t know if they have been replaced or not.
