Hey kids, guess what time it is....Yup! Its Header Time!

Just got in my Active Autowerke headers in from Calico Coatings. I had them coated in their ultra high performance black series ceramic. I would have gone with the "cool chrome" ceramic and had some killer under-hood eye candy, but not much to see once under the heat shield and the black is good to 2000 degrees and offers a bit more heat isolation from my understanding. They did an amazing job coating them inside and out. I ran the camera snake through the collectors and they hit it all. I highly recommend them and their turn around was quick. Ceramic coatings, Teflon coatings, Thermal coatings solutions | Calico Coatings

Headers are planned to go on the X this weekend. Here's some teaser photos in the mean time. I'll add some more pics of the installation, etc. Enjoy.

Install postponed for a couple days. I'm having custom flanged connecting pipes made to connect the header to the mid-section. The headers are made for a 330i, so this is my way of adapting it and being able swap the factory exhaust manifold back in when necessary.
