04 Headlights on too a 03

Would E53 04 headlights fit to my 03 E53? And would it be a straight replacement?

I don't believe so, as an '04 E53 is facelifted as opposed to a non facelift model which ran production up to '03. Sorry but I can't recall the month.

One of the members here did a total upgrade of a prefacelift to the later facelift. It involved bonnet replacement, headlights, grills, fog lights, front bumper etc. A most professional and commenable job. Try doing a search, hopefully you'll find it. I think it was sterling grey in colour.
