Oil life monitor

I picked up a 2002 X5 3.0 a few weeks ago and I was looking threw the users manual and it talks about the oil life monitor display under the gear indicator. I do not having any thing displayed there. Did all X5’s come with this?

Yes, they all came with it. You will see it when you first turn the key on.

You don't need to reset it. It will dissappear if your car has the proper amount of oil and good oil in it. If its on, you need an oil change, or your oil level is low.
