When shutting close driver front door - doesn't sound quite right.

Hi all,

As I've described in another post, I checked my new-to-me X5 at our local port yesterday. I tried opening and closing all doors and all seemed normal except the driver's door. Somehow, the sound it made when shutting it close did not seem normal; not at all like the other three doors. Alignment of the door looked okay? Should I remove the door panel and start checking inside for something that could have come a bit loose? What should I check for?

Sorry for all these questions but I am really excited as I will take possession of the car next week and I would like everything to be close to perfect when I show it to my wife.

Will post pics as soon as I get it and after it gets a decent bath. Oh, it's a 2005 Le Mans Blue 4.8is.

Thanks,
Philip
