front indicator bulb and socket replace procedure

X5 2000 4.4 xenon drivers side indicator bulb??

neither front or rear indicators drivers side working, so I removed both rear indicator sockets and bent prongs up a bit checked to make sure bulb working by switching with operable right side, and after switching both rear indicators now working

can someone please advise on how to remove drivers side headlamp assembly to access the indicator bulb and socket? there are 2 bolts that are on the top of the assembly but cant see what others must be removed. the car has Xenon lights.

I searched the forum without seeing any exact instructions on how to proceed. Thanks

Don't have my owner's manual to confirm, but isn't the procedure in there?

Here's a link with pics...not "hard", but take your time and be careful not
to drop a bolt or tool, and watch your knuckles. And, it may be the relay
wiring harness, not just the bulb/socket. The link was found easily in
Search Tab, and in DIY info on front page.

David thanks so much, that writeup is for a later model but perhaps they are the same.
Will post back if I can get it fixed...
