Nokian WR G2 vs Michelin Latitude

Hi all. I'm looking to replace my tires on my 2004 4.4i. I've been looking at all the posts and looking for any advice on the Nokian WRG2 vs Michelin Latitudes. I'm looking for an all season tire as I live in WI. Snow is a factor only maybe 3 months out of the year. I do a lot of highway driving so trying to decipher which has a more comfortable ride, noise, etc. My local Indy is pushing the Nokians as he thinks they are the best tire out there. Any help/thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

I use Michelin latitudes but I have only used them in summer since I have a separate winter set. But I read some reviews saying they aren't the best tire for snow. Then again I have them in 19" so it depends if your has the sport wheels or the stock 18's.

well since the Nokian is rated a winter tire it will be best for you. it's not just the snow, but the cold that makes the tires perform worse. the Nokians are a great choice if you can't have a separate setup, though a second set would be cheaper overall.

i had never heard of nokian tires and did a little research on them after reading this thread..they appear to be excellent tires especially for colder climate areas..i live on long island new york and the winters are usually sloppy...i am now considering the all season version in 18 inch...any opinions versus the michelin/bridgestone...thanks rob
