Getting ready to install Struts and Lower my X5

OK, I am just ordering the Bilstein struts and notice on the ECS tuning site there are some recommended parts to change at the same time. I am referring to the front strut mount and upper strut bearing.

In doing a search on strut replacement I don't read of any one replacing these parts. Should these parts be done as well or do they not need changing.

Any other parts I am overlooking and should be done during this process?

Items to be installed in a couple of weeks:
New Bilstein struts up front
B&G lowering springs
custom adjustable endlinks
eibach sway bars
10mm spacers up front
25mm spacers in back
Dinan strut brace

I also have the Bilstiens in my garage waiting as I was installing them tommorow but I have to hold off, waiting to receieve my poly bushes.

I was thinking to buy new spring pads up n lower and bearing #6.
You are going to love the Eibachs and your setup. you didnt get camber plates?

What are you planning to do with your 4.6 suspension parts?

Question for Tom, is it worth swapping out my 03 4.4 suspension parts with Redline's 02 4.6 suspension parts?

Goodluck with the install, its gonna be a beast!

What about other suspension parts? Anything make sense to replace while I am doing this?

I will say the suspension seems really tight and handles great in stock form. I have no clunks or noise of any kind from my stock suspension.

OK, so I don't need to worry about replacing any other suspension parts while doing the mods listed above.
