Smile Eratic Idle on E53 3.0ltr

Hi everyone,

I have a 3.0ltr E53 and have noticed that there is an eratic idle. Sometimes it idles at normal RPM then most of the time it's idling really high up to 1000 rpm. Also there is a loss of power when you accelerate it seems there is a delay in the power coming on and seems to take longer to shift down a gear.

I have had the cam position sensor replaced and the coils swapped around as I could not get new coils in time. It was ok for about a week after doing this and now it's gone crazy again. Could it be the Mass Air Flow Sensor? Or shoudl I replace all six coils. Or could there be a vacuum leak somewhere.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
