DRL's as halos on stock '06?

Was just wondering if you have thr DRL's be wired for the halos like on newer X5's. Can this be done fairly easily as DIY or even dealer?

no the dealer cannot do this feature and it will require modding the light module that powers the Halo's and the DRL

Were you able to find any info on how to do this? I am trying to have my Halo's run as DRL's too.

You just need to rewire if you want to do it thr old fashioned way. Maybe these days it can be done via computer, but most of us dont know or cannot use this method. I just wired them directly to the ignition. Any time the car is on, the angel eyes are on as well. I also did the DRL delete with resistors.

Thanks, sounds easy enough. So that means though that the halos are on even if you are just parked w/ headlights off and need the car on for some reason right?
